Meet Vanessa Moss

I have practiced law since 2002 as a Solo Practitioner. I have several areas of expertise including but not limited to Criminal, Family, Probate, Neglect & Abuse and Delinquency. I am a mother of two sons and grandmother of two grandsons. I was raised in Detroit, graduated from DPS and then from Wayne State University. All of my professional life has been dedicated to working with people, whether that is at risk students in the DPS and Highland Park School Systems or working in the courts as a judicial assistant. I have always worked in the community organizing voter registration drives, canned food drives, working in the church and I have done extensive pro bono work. Since becoming an attorney, I have worked the polls doing voter protection. I’m on the board of directors of two non-profit organizations, the Downtown Detroit YMCA and the Rho Sigma Foundation of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. I love my family but my family is not just those who are related to me by blood. My family is my community....
